NET ZERO LIBRARY OF JHANSI AND BEYOND: A FRAMEWORK FOR SUSTAINABLE LIBRARY DEVELOPMENT IN INDIA

This paper introduces the concept of “Net Zero Library” and explores how library science is playing a major role in promoting sustainability. As world is facing various environmental problems, libraries has also contributed in reducing the negative impact on environment and increasing positive effect by the concept of Net Zero Libraries and Sustainable or Green Libraries. This paper also inculcates various organization which are heping in promoting sustainable buildings like EDGE and BOOTES.
