The growing complexity of financial workloads necessitates robust, scalable, and privacy-preserving cloud architectures. Trust-aware multi-cloud federations offer a strategic solution to mitigate risk by distributing operations across trusted providers while maintaining data integrity. This paper investigates the architecture and mechanisms needed for federated cloud trust models specifically suited for financial workloads, highlighting challenges and proposing privacy-first solutions. Key metrics such as latency, trust alignment, and data leakage probability are evaluated under simulated conditions.
